Renata Helfman

Founder & Executive Director

During her 15 years working as a celebrity makeup artist, Renata cultivated a passion for chemical-free products and has become an advocate for all of the positive benefits that clean beauty, skincare, and wellness have on the body and mind. Utilizing her professional background in the clean beauty industry, Renata began Lipstick Angels in 2012. As the Founder and Executive Director at Lipstick Angels, Renata has made it her mission to bring beauty, compassion, and human touch to cancer patients through Lipstick Angels’ uplifting support services that bring joy and uplift people who are dealing with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer treatment. Renata is an entrepreneur, thought leader, professional artist, and cancer-support advocate with significant experience in brand management, volunteer management, professional presentation, public relations, organizational strategy, and relationship building.

Amy Holiber

National Program Director

Currently serving as National Program Director of Lipstick Angels, Amy oversees the operations of 16 in-hospital programs nationwide. Amy has been part of Lipstick Angels since its inception, first as a volunteer and then working her way up to West Coast Program Manager. Her previous career as a makeup artist for the film and television industry included creating looks for countless advertising campaigns as well as lending her skills to multiple television shows and editorial work. She is deeply committed to the mission of Lipstick Angels, as she has interacted with thousands of patients and witnessed firsthand the profound impact the power of personal touch and pampering can have on the health and well being of a cancer patient. Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Northridge. She lives in Santa Monica with her husband and two sons.

Keiko Hartmann

Operations Supervisor

Keiko is a 4th generation LA native that loves her city. After earning a degree in Hospitality Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she quickly moved back to Los Angeles and started her career. While she enjoyed taking care of and bringing joy to guests in the luxury hotel industry for many years, she felt a strong desire to bring joy to people who truly needed it. Keiko has volunteered and participated in charity walks when she could, but she soon began to pursue nonprofit work more passionately. Upon being welcomed into the Lipstick Angels family, she has found the organization’s mission and drive to be both inspiring and heartwarming. After witnessing multiple loved ones experience medical hardships firsthand, Keiko is honored to join such a strong group of women to help empower those experiencing cancer and other medical hardships across the US.

Gina Arellano

Regional Director, San Francisco Bay Area

Growing up in Houston, Texas, Gina Arellano was always drawn to natural health and wellness. After moving to the Bay Area, she was able to build more connections in this field. Her experience spans more than a decade, including positions in sales, management, and marketing, as well as roles in health, holistic beauty, and wellness. In addition to numerous certifications in non-invasive anti-aging technologies, Gina completed the Cinta Aveda Institute’s CIDESCO program where she became a licensed esthetician. Gina has extensive artistic experience in different mediums. An enthusiastic artist, she paints with acrylics on canvas, creates digital media, and is a makeup artist. With a thirst for holistic knowledge and a commitment to action, she is a success. She became a volunteer for Lipstick Angels in 2019, which inspired her to shift her career to focus on the positive impact that clean beauty can have. The gratification she receives from helping patients and building up their self-esteem is priceless, and she enjoys being that helping hand. She aspires to become a Naturopathic Physician in the future to aid even further on a different scale.

Michelle De Luca

Program Manager, Los Angeles

Michelle De Luca is a Licensed Esthetician and has been volunteering for Lipstick Angels since 2016. She is passionate about giving back to the industry and making a positive impact through her craft. Being a Lipstick Angel has drastically changed her perspective on life and has given her a humanitarian spirit. She incorporates a holistic approach in her treatment room. Michelle studied Esthetics at Paul Mitchell in Los Angeles, California, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. She has been featured in Allure and Marie Claire Magazine.

Melissa Iannacone

Program Manager, New York

Melissa believes you are beautiful, just as you are. Her passion is to enhance beauty through professional makeup artistry and beauty advising. As a professional makeup artist, Lead Director with Limelife by Alcone, and Lipstick Angel, the best part of her job is getting to know people, cherishing what makes them unique, and making them feel like the most beautiful version of themselves from the inside out. Melissa is also an award-winning bridal makeup artist, she has worked at NYFW, The Miss Universe Organization, and more. She has been in the industry for more than a decade and also worked alongside global artists throughout her career. Melissa started in 2020 as a volunteer Lipstick Angel in NYC where her true passion was. She believes that makeup is art but beauty is spirit. As a Lipstick Angel, she is able to empower women, help build confidence, and pursue all of her dreams. She loves helping others look and feel their very best and truly believes in the beauty of giving back. Melissa studied Cosmetic Marketing at The Fashion Institute of Technology,  NYC, where she also studied abroad at The American University of Rome, Italy. She attended cosmetology school at Capri Institute. She lives in New Jersey, enjoys traveling, sunsets,  spending time with loved ones and her fur baby.

Jennifer Rose

Program Specialist, San Francisco Bay Area
Jennifer Rose is a former social worker responsible for connecting with people to assist and inspire making positive changes in their lives. It’s always been her philosophy that she should leave people feeling better than they did when she met them. In 2006, Jennifer became a licensed esthetician. Makeup and skincare are powerful tools that increase self-esteem and well being. She knows how holistic and healing it is to feel good inside and out. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She also has worked in human resources, recruiting and administration.
